Property of Mother

Dear Experts if my mother have a property which she received by her mother only as a possession but not by name. And later on my wife me and my mother reside there. Is my wife is legally able to claim such property or right to live there which Is basically in my nani's name.???

if you are residing in your nani's house then she has all rights to live there with you , she can not claim her right on your nani's property .

And if I start staying at rented accomodation outside then also she has right to stay at my nani's house ??
