It is believed that they are Hindu.

If it has acquired the status of absolute/self acquired proeprty of married hindu woman then; NO in her life time they have no share.

If she deceases without disposing the property by a valid WILL then if the property is acquired from the Husband and heirs of husband have a claim.

Are they claiming it as  joint Hindu family property?
