Property will

Dear Experts:

Am residing in USA and I wanted to write a will for my property in India.

1. Is it valid in Indian law system if I write a will in USA for my property in India?
2. Am married and have a daughter but the terms are not good with wife. In this context can I write my will saying that my Mother is absolute owner of all my properties? or should I give any share mandatorily to my wife or daughter?

Kindly Clarify

Thanks

Karan

You didnt mentioned whether the property is ancestral or your self-acquired. You can only write a will if it is your self acquired property and you can write your self-acquired property to any person you may like\
