Proprietorship changed in to pvt ltd

A proprietorship firm was awarded tender (Annual Contract) but after contract the proprietorship  changed in to PVT LTd.  is it legal or not.?

Yes it is legal if the same is at par with the Companies Act 2013.

The company will be treated as a new company as per certificate of incorporation.
