Protection from foisted/framed charges

person A is in Business dispute with person B. Person A gets physically assaulted by Person C who has no relation with with Person B . Person B has in no way influenced Person C to hurt Person A. Person C has acted on his own to settle some personal grudge.

But person A by mistake come to the conclusion that person B is behind the attack. Person A then proceeds to file an Attempt to Murder case and names person B and one of his cousins.

In essence person A is filing  a case of Attempt to Murder and trying to frame Person B and his relatives who are innocent .

Since Attempt to Murder is a cognizable offence and accused persons can be arrested without a hearing what are the legal means available to Person B and his relatives to avoid arrest and protect themselves by law.
