In a DV case witness examined, contradiction and ommission brought on record by showing certified copy of NCR. Witness admitted NCR and said that she cannot assign any reason why there is contradiction and omission. Prosecution denies to call IO for examination. Now, my question is, can it said that contradiction, omission and NCR are proved without examination of IO? should defence call IO?
