Purchase of resale property

Dear Friends,

I am buying a resale property from the second owner of the flat. The second owner has the original sale agreement entered between him and the first owner. But he his not having the original agreement entered between the first owner and the builder. He has given me the photocopy of the same, mentioning that the original first party agreement is lost. Should i go ahead with the deal?
