Purchasing a property in the name of parents who expired

Hi,

I am about to purchase a property when I came to know that property is in the name of the parents who got expired some time back and there is no nominee. Now there sons (two) wants to sell their property. What precautions and documents should i ask for. So far I know that a some certificate will get issued allowing them to sell property

Thanks for the advice...

Its in Haryana(faridabad) house (flat). I have heard about RD (Relinqueshment dee) that will give them right to sell their property and it dosent required to get the property first transferring to their name and then to me. Is legal heir succession document also required?

If RD is done then can I proceed with payment? How long it takes to get RD done ?
