Purchasing property in name of a minor

sir, can a piece of land be purchased and title registered in the name of a minor (around 14 years of age)? will the sale deed be valid? the proposed purchase is in Andhra Pradesh and a father wishes to purchase this property in the name of his son who is now 14 years old.

A father of a minor can purchase property in the name of minor.  the father or mother or any other person representing the minor as guardian.  that gaurdina shall not sell the minor's  property.

1) Any property can be purchased in name of guardin of minor. But when minor becomes major then that property needs to be transfer in minors name.
