I work in travel agency and resinged in the month of april and for full & final settlement, employeer is deducting the amount in my last salary for the mistake happened from my side for the transaction.
The amount is huge and I will not getting any money from them.
Kindly let me know if this is a per the labour law of India, if not how should we go ahead with this case.

Give full details of the mistake happened from your side... What was the total loss... Have you agreed to reimburse the loss from your side in writing..

How such types of mistake were adjusted in the past from other employees... Please speak to your management... these types of issues can be sorted by negotiation only..

Ealier days they used adjust and now since i have quit, they are inisting me on this.
