Query regarding doing a full time course (regular) with govt job

I am doing a govt job that I got in July 2023. And I have been doing MBA as well in which I enrolled before the job (November 2022), this is a regular post graduation degree course that I am doing. Now, I have had leave permission twice for my exams for 2nd semester and now 3rd semester ones. But a question hit my mind out of the blue today, and that is whether this MBA that I am pursuing, would I be able to use it in the govt sector, in my department or any other department perhaps along with showcasing my current job's experience that I am doing. Or would it be considered null, because they might ask how was I doing a regular MBA along with a full time job. I am really clueless as to what to do. Are there any such provisions in the govt rules where if I get an NOC from my department about continuing my studies, I won't be having a problem doing a regular course? I sincerely request your guidance in this regard.

In ce you have not taken NOC for continutung studies the :-

  1. this qualification will nto be added to your service record.
  2. you will not be able to apply for any post based on this ualificatio.
  3. you ae alos liable for disciplinary action.

deptt has a discretion to take mercy and grant ex-post facto sanction.

it is possible to acquire MBA degree while doing government jobt. You can either attend evening classes known as part time course or you can also apply for distance mode of education. But you can't attend classes in normal schedule while doing a government job as it will disrupt the work and a long leave for so many years won't be granted all together.

Actually, the college doesn't require attendance. I just have to give exams, and for that I have taken leave, once for 2nd semester and now for the 3rd semester. Is it still possible to take NOC/permission, a back dated one probably? The thought didn't come into my mind about as such. Or maybe if I can change the course into private? But then if I try for corporate sector, its value won't be considered as much. Please guide regarding what can be done now? How is it possible so that I can use my regular MBA degree later on and get it marked into my service record as well?

You have been advised about the proper course of action to be pursued. You can decide based on your circumstances about all such future actions

Is there any solution to this? What can be done if I am unable to get it as private degree? Or if I get it as private? What should be my further steps in both the cases, please enlighten me.

The permission is mandatory even if you are conducting part time/ distance education / online education.

departmenta can sill take mercy and grant ex-post facto permission.

I just want to ask about the solution. What should I do now? As I didn't know that I needed permission earlier, can I take permission to continue the course, now? Would that be valid too?

Please advise regarding the solution.

department can still take mercy and grant expost facto permission.

depatment if annoyed can decline permission.

department if further annoyed can initiate disciplinary action.
