Dear Lawyer,
One of our neighbours Carol & I stay in the same building. While going out of India she decided to give me the Garage to park my second car. She wrote a letter informing the secretary that she had left her garage in my custody. She continues to pay the maintenance charges & municipal property for the garage.
Society says that she cannot give her garage and if so I need to pay them garage hire charges of Rs 250/- per month.
I am already paying Carol parking charges of ads 2000/- per month Society would allow me to park the car inside only after taking legal opinion as all this while I have been parking the car outside open to sky and paying them parking charges .
Can the society stop me from par me from parking my car in her Garage with her permission paying her directly parking charges and she in turn paying the maintainance and property tax for flat & garage
Does the society have the right to refuse or charge me parking charges when when I am already paying her.
