Query regards one time alimony

Hi Members, justhave a basic question, the divorce was mutual and granted by court 5 years back. Now just as a mater or respect, 1L earstwile husband wants to pay ex-wife as onetime alimony. During divorce,no alimony was agreed and it was mutual, no issues. Now to avoid any Income tax issues later to ex-wife, any documentation needs to be done to avoid IT people taking this as Income and charging it to income tax to the benificiary? Like a notorized deed on non judicial paper simple declaring that this is one o0ne alimony as a gesture, please guide?

If you want to avoid income tax, you have to show divorce court order. As per court order, I.T. department will decide. No notary deeds can help in this regard.

Yes will show court order, no issues, but court order says nothing about alimony, this amount was decided later after 5 years of divorde, just as a compensation.
