query relating to bail

Is there any provision in the criminal law which states that the person if granted bail. And after granting bail the officials came to know that he is a heinous criminal and may be threat to the society Then what will the court do to save the society. With the criminal? Wil it cancel the bail or it will keep a eye on him?
