I am 39 years old, married and has a 5 years old son. Due to marital discord my wife keeps my child away from me and even my aged parents. I though never shy away from any responsiblities towards my son. Now, since according to law, I can not adopt a child without my wife's consent, if I bring a child (with consent form his parnets) to my home and raise him, without legally adopting him, would I voilate law and can my wife take legal steps against me because of that? Needlles to say, I will keep supporting my biological child even if I raise another child.
