child marriage restrient act, changed and the age for giving consent changed from 16 to 18. now a girl of bellow 18 has no power to give a valid consent on solemnization, nor his parents or gurdians.so the rape case changed accordingly.

for determination of age date of birth as per school certificate and date of solemnization will determine the age.

"if a marriage solemnized in 16 years age of a girls it would have legal force."
