In light of the wife filing a false 498a case, with no intention other than to harass the husband & his family, it destabilizes the husband from trusting the wife & family ever again.
Especially when the husband purposely has gone only through various measures of reconciliation through personal & family elders as well as mediation / counselling in the interest of keeping his marriage alive by saving it (whereas the wife & her family have resorted to filing false cases); If none of these has any bearing on the wife's behaviour and she remains stubborn it leaves no other option for the husband except to part ways from the marriage relationship.
