Re-purchase in a cooperative society

I own a flat in a cooperative society where I am the primary owner & my wife is the co-owner. We are planning to purchase a second flat in the same cooperative. Can we purchase a second flat in the same cooperative with my wife as the primary owner??

1. Each Housing Co-opertive society having its own bye-laws of its own, if such rules permits then you can purchase another flat in the name of your wife.
