Rectification deed

Sir I had a property in my wife name.  After her death, the children thro release deed transferred the property.  Now can I transfer the property to my son thro settlement deed.

2. In that property there is a typographical error.  If I register a rectification deed, is it necessary to pay the difference in stamp duty at the time of original sale and the current value of property

pls clarify

thanks

1. If it is minor correction, only you need to pay a nominal fees.

2. If you want to transfer/give your share, you better to execute a Gift Deed in favour of your son, to whom you want to transfer the property.

In rectification deed other than change in value and area no stamp duty
