dear experts,
we entered into an agreement with a hr services provider for our company to recruite candidates. they recruited a candiate for our company and we paid them the agreed free (8.33% of annual pay). as per agreement, they would replace candidates free of charge if selected candidate leaves within 90 days. but the candidate left within a week. we asked for a replacement and they did not provide one. so we asked for a refund and they are not ready to do that as well.
we want to send them a legal notice to resolve this. is this a civil or criminal issue? are there any sections/acts dealing with such issues?
