Refund of stamp duty

I sold my flat in Bangalore through registered sale deed about 5 months back. Now the buyer is not able to pay balance consideration due to impact of covid-19. My question is whether the buyer can get refund of stamp duty if we mutually go for cancellation of sale deed.

It is not possible for getting refund of stamp duty.
