Can you kindly make your query a bit clear?

So what is the problem.

bail doesnot stop the trial. chargesheet filing is part of the process.

if, in a case, the police has not filed a chargesheet, and if the defendant has been granted same-day bail (as there is no provision for Anticipatory Bail in UP), is it possible that once the police files the chargesheet, the defendant may be arrested?

also, once a defendant gets a bail, is teh bail valid till

A) the end of the case

B) the chargesheet is filed

C) till the court issues its next order?

Bail once granted id valid till the completion of the trial.

Oh Rohit,

Wait a minute, you would need to surrender before the local magistrate and who would decided your bail petition same day. If the same is granted, then it would be valid till the completion of the trial.
