Regarding double employment

My contract bars double employment.

But, if I have a startup, or if I am a major shareholder of some company, so that I am involved in the decision making process of that company, will it be considered as double employment ?? Because I am really not employed by anyone in my startup. Please clarify.

There are many ways a person can offer his service to multiple companies in exchange of compensation and without being directly employed by them.

However, in the name of offering consultancy, if you pass the key business factors, clientele etc to the other party, it is a criminal breach of contact. There are certain non disclosed agreements which every employee has to be abided by with strict compliance.

Hence, you decide what you are doing if against the integrity of the employer, you will be in big trouble.
