Regarding filing a caveat for a property case.

My father passed away in 30.6.2014,he has settled his property (own) to me in 2007. I have all the land documents (patta), EC, settlement copy etc.. in my name but my brother & 2 sisters have filed a case in the courts of small causes disputing that. They had have no documents to claim that but, are filing petitions to delay the process of summon & enquiry. Already both their petitions against me were dismissed and they are most likely to file more petition in the future to drag as much as possible without any documents, proof or evidence to the contrary. Keeping this in mind can a caveat petition be filed against them so, that I could prevent the court further from hearing their petitons since they have no documents and their only intention is to drag the case and ensure speedy process of this case.

Regards,

A caveat petition is filed before a court for getting the knowledge of any case file against you by the expected opposite parties and hey should not obtain any exparte temporary orders against you in their favor.

Therefore you may file a caveat petition requesting the court to advise you before passing any order against you in your absence.
