Hi - I have 1 acre of land near Hosur, Tamil nadu and its agricultural property and obtained through inheritance, i am trying to sell the property but few miscreants in our village is threatening to the people who come to purchase the property telling that there is a road on property and we will have to leave the road for them, but when we checked the map there is no road present at all in registry, they are threatening by telling that we will call local MLA and because of this none of the parties are showing interest in buying the property and some people are asking for very less price.
These miscreants have created unnecessary problem or litigation even though documents are fine.
First of all is there any law in India which can help NRI like me to stop this nuiscance and not sure if police will help (heard that they are extremely corrupt).
Can someone guide here?
