Regarding job experience for central govt job

Sir/madam for one post in central govt. it require 2 years job experience . As i had backlog in one subject in my final semester so in next year i joined a job while clearing that backlog alongside. will my experience for that year count or not acc to govt policy. There was no mention in advt notice regarding this
