Hi - I am selling the land to buyer and he has cleared almost 80% of amount and is asking for original documents to hand over to him.
Still Sale deed registration is pending, can we hand over the original documents? What are the legalities involved here?

You can handover the original documents of the property after registration of sale deed and after receipt of entire sale consideration amount.
Do not do anything in haste or get lured to attractive words of the seller otherwise you will not be able to recover the balance sale consideration amount.

Yes you can handover original documents of property to buyer after getting full sale consideration.
