This query is in regard to an unregistered apartment owners association in West Bengal. I want to know what is the difference between getting it registered under 'West Bengal Apartment Ownership Act 1972' and 'West Bengal societies registration act 1961'?
My second query is what formalities an association registered under 'West Bengal societies registration act 1961' follows practically, not theoratically?

Registration under Apartments Act is the as per the registration for the property (Sale Deed) under the relevant act. The registration under Societies is necessary to give corporate identity to the association of persons and to represent all the apartment owners in any legal forum on behalf of all apartment owners.
