I am proposing to buy a new flat in Rajarhat-Gopalpur municipality area in Kolkata. This is a resale one, the original buyer sold it off prior to registration. Following are my queries, kindly help me find the answers:
1 - How to determine the government valuation for the registration/stampduty purpose.
2 - I presume the total expense would be 8.1% of the valuation amount. Is it correct?
3 - The saleable area is 1050 sq ft and the living area is 700 sq ft. There is a covered parking area of 120 sq ft also attached to this appartment. The valuation is limited to the only living+parking area or total saleable+parking area?
