Registration of love marriages

How does one deal with the 'procedural rigors' of Marriage Registration in case of love marriages against the wishes of parents? For example, one of the stringent formality of registration is the affidavit of either parent of the bride and bride-groom. Obviously, in case of inter-caste marriage or marriage against the wishes of families, the family-members would not support the cause.

What is the way out?

How can such a marriage be registered in any case?

There is no stringent condition like that, only one month notice if you want to register a fresh marriage.

I agree with Mr kapoor, ther is no such rule for filing parents' affidavit. On the mandatory one month notice is required..

If bride and the groom are major and willlin, then nothing can stop them from marrying.
