Regn of poa for defending in a property suit

Regn of POA for defending in a property suit

‘A’ desires to give a POA to ‘B’ for representing himself in a civil suit to be filed at a place ‘C’ different from both his (A’s) & B’s place of residence.

1. Is it necessary that the said POA is executed at the place of the suit property i.e at ‘C’ or it can be executed at the place of residence of A or B  or at any other place?

2.  Is it mandatory for such a POA to be registered or it can be a POA duly notarized in front of witnesses?

3.  Can a POA be given to a person who is himself a party to the suit and is also a relative of the person intending to give the POA?

4. Can a POA holder lead evidence and be a witness in a suit on behalf of the person giving the POA? Or in other words is the person giving the POA still required to appear in the court for Examination, Cross Examination etc or all these stages can be done by the POA holder himself
