Rejection of a defendant withdrawal application in court

Can a withdrawal application for withdrawing one of the defendants after out of court settlement with a confirmation deed be rejected by the court.If so on what basis and if accepted how long will it take for the orders and what is the step by step procedure.

Courts record out of court settlement under order 23 code of civil procedure

Once recorded by court, cannot be set aside
