1. Hindu Marriage Application & Registration is done by "Registrar of Marriages"  .AND. not by any Magistrate.

Hi,

Magistrate does not per se take jurisdiction of a Hindu Marriage. If any petition is to be presented under HMA 1955, it can be presented to District Court (Family Court) exercising jurisdiction under section 19.
