Relatives asking property share suddenly

My grandfather had two sons, my father and my his elder brother (Doddappa)and also five daughters. My grandfather got a plot in Janata plot scheme andafter my grandfather died my doddappa had a share and they came to conclusion that my father will keep the plot and two house's inside it. My father gave the settlement that time (30 years back) and my doddappa signed in village panchayat and rtc is in my father name from that time now. My doddappa died 15 year back and he did not ask share anytime and my father and doddappa were in good terms.. Now suddenly my doddamma and her sons suddenly asking 5L or a house and they even went ahead with locking the house on top of the lock we had put. We even agreed to give 2.5 Lakhs just to get rid of them. but they are not agreeing.. they are showing their criminal behaviour and musle power. Do they have any legal rights in the property? They say doddamma signature was not taken that time

Other thing was my grandmother had 2 acres of land which was purchased from here maternal family and since we took care of all the daughters they signed and even my doddappa signed and made that land to our father name in all the good will. My father became the owner of it and everything happened in panchayat limitation in 2007. I think that time that was the procedure.

But suddenly these people are making the noise after so many years

Out of your grandfather's properties your father's elder brother or his legal heirs are having equal rights hence you may better solve it amicably

Thanks for the reply, sir. All the property transfers happened when my father's elder brother was alive, and it was almost 15 years old (agricultural land) and the house (28 to 30 years back). Is the claim still valid now? And those properties were not ancestral property. I think i read somewhere the max time limit for the claim is 12 years.

Agriculture land was in my grandmother's name as it was purchased by her mother. So all 5 daughters and my father's elder brother signed and the property got to my father in a panchayat meeting in 2007 and my father became the sole owner.

For houses, it was almost 28 years ago when my father gave settlement as per that time price and upon that his signature was taken in panchayat and it came to my father.
