Employee should record such transactions ( audio/visual) and attempt to have some witness. This shall come handy at appropriate time in appropriate forum. Employee should build favorable record and may report the incidence, in writing under acknowledgment from personal email/by letter, to good offices of appointing authority, MD, Company Secretary, with a copy to Head-HR.

If at all you decide to resign you may tender notice of resignation, in writing under acknowledgment from personal email/official email with a copy to personal email/by letter, to good offices only, with effective date of resignation/last day in office mentioned in it. You may ask to inform you in writing to whom the charge/company property should be handed over and the payment of dues by bank DD only, acceptance of resignation, form 16, attested copies of PF withdrawal/transfer forms, work experience/service certificate, relieving letter, NOC/NDC etc should be handed over to you by your last in office i.e. dated.............If you are eligible for gratuity you may submit form I under acknowledgment. You may mention that routine work may be assigned, and only those tasks which can be completed within last day in office may be assigned to you.

Remain amiable and vigilant too. Do not leave any room for company to charge you on any count. Firm up your next venture as ap. Be smart.

Tell them to hold a Domestic inquiry and issue charge sheet and remove you from services for any alleged misconduct.  Do not resign on your own let them remove you from services.  How big is your company?  Is it a profit making company, well established?
