Ours is small scale factory in the region of Thana District.
We were renewing our Factory licence regularly before due date. We have shown 1000 HP and say 150 workmen since more than 15 years. Till 2014 renewing authority did not take any objection or raised any query about consumption of electricity but this time they have demanded our electricity bill and accordingly they want us to make the of difference amount from the date of it is installed.
My question is are we (industry) only culprit ? Is it not the mistake of Renewing authority? Because how much we have to pay that authority is guiding and if we have given false data they are catch holding at the time of inspection so according to me it is not the mistake of only industrialist.
Under the circumstances, authority should not impose penalty on difference amount and authority should be equally punished for the negligency they have committed all these years.
