Hi,
I am living in Noida in a rental property. I had an agreement with the Landlord which expires in Sept,2011. We (Landlord and me ) had discussion for the next year rent. Earlier the rent was 13800/- and now he has hiked to 16800/-. I agreed to it and has given 16800/- for the month of Oct,2011. The issue is that on asking he as not given me the Agreement Copy for this year. What should I do?

Dear Rachit
as per you query, it is very useful to you in future because the landlords blackmail to their tenant and the landlord vacated you from his house any time if you have not the copy of rent agreement. secondly if he is not issue the rent agreement then you can pay through cheques for your safty, in future you can prove through these cheques that you are the tenant in this place. feel free to call me on 9953809956
