Resignation from post

Hi, I had been working as science teacher in a pvt. school in haryana. At the time of appointment I was forced to sign that letter in which it was said school can end my services with only one month prior notice while I have to give three month notice if leave school. Also at the time of giving salary they ask me to sign at Rupees 12000/- while they pay me 7000/- cash only not through bank. Now I have left the school randomly.along with my one month salary which was lying with them as security. Now the school is threatening me of legal action if I don't pay them three month salary. I am puzzled and upset as what to do. please advice as where to complaint about this injustice and dictatorship. I want to teach them a lesson. Please advice..Thanks friends

You have posted that:

--"Also at the time of giving salary they ask me to sign at Rupees 12000/- while they pay me 7000/- cash only not through bank." Employee should record such transactions and/or arrange evidence of witness. If you can establish it school management shall be in trouble and you shall have a handle to negotiate.

It is felt that notice of termination should be equal for both employer and employee.

If you have left without any notice you are at the max. liable to tender notice pay.

it was injustice that you were being paid rs 7000 against the sanctioned salary of rs 12000. but how to prove this, wil u have witnesses to this effect. notice period agreed at the time of appointment as given in the letter od appontment will have to be reimbursed,.

Thanks Mr. Vatsa for replying. We are four persons facing the same problem and all of us were working in same institution and now have left. Institute used to drop salary in our bank accounts which were managed to open by them and operated by them. They draw our salary through ATM card which they have kept in their custody and then they give half salary by cash. Can we give witness for one another and how we can challenge them. please advice.

CCTV footage of ATM can be of help to you.

It is felt that the CCTV footage of some banks is kept for 3-6 months or till space is available in hard disk.

The affected persons can lodge a complaint with Chairman of the bank with a request to not to destroy the CCTV footage for the period ...............months ,and may have to lodge a criminal complaint with police.

It shall be approrpiate to approach a competent lawyer and  keep some resourceful citizens by your side as you shall be pitted against high and mighty. Weigh your options carefully.

I have resigned from an MNC which is a pvt ltd company. They have a notice period of 3months but I can serve only 1 month. But my Manager is strictly saying that he will not release me before 3 months as there is no backup for me in the company and it is not possible before that. In this case if I leave early I will not be getting any letter from the company for release or experience. I want this letter which is very important for my future. The company is also not ready for any buy back option and wants me to stay. I cannot stay as I have to join another company with the letters. Kindly suggest what alternative I can apply to obtain the letters for release and experience.I have told my manager that i cannot serve more then 50 days as notice instead of 90 days. Please suggest very important for my future.
