Parliamentary standing committee headed by Smt. Sumitra Mahajan has called for views before it vets "Land Acquisition Bill - 2011". But, the time it has given is very less, a span of just 15 days. Amidst so much of commitments, it becomes very hard for general public to respond on such an imporatant matter within such a short time. If one does not, one stands to lose everything.
1. SO, CAN A REQUEST BE MADE TO EXTEND THE TIME TO MAKE A MEANINGFUL REPRESENTATION?
2. What is the procedure? Whom to contact/request, how, when and how will we come to know of what has happened on the request?
