Return of title deed documents under section 140 & 141-clarification sought.

Sir, having paid the entire loan amount due to the bank as a surety holder, I have asked for the original documents by quoting the sections 140 & 141 as per the rights. The bank asked me to approach the court and get the orders to enforce the rights. What course of action shall I take. please inform, Sir.
