Returning things in presence of advocate

hi all,

my all belongings r at my hubby place  ...he threw me out of his house by triple talaq n its been 6 months now they r not returning my belongings...a common friend of ours informed them to giv ..to which they said that they will return them in presence of their advocate  n our 2 witnesses..

my query : is it rite for an advocate...to...do that ...is it legal...?

should we collect them with our 2witnesses

or get thru court...
