Revealing salary details

Dear Members,

Divorce has been filed by wife. Now in the reply from the husband does he need to prove that his income is 30000 per month or can he say that the income is moderate. Wife is showing income as 50000 per month.

Also when do we have to show the actual income of the husband and what documents are needed to support the husbands income.

Seen from this forum that women normally exxagerate the income of the husband to extract high maintenance.

What amount of interim maintenance is generally awarded to the wife if shes earning very low amount of money.

Burden of proof lies on party seeking relief. You just have to deny allegations and defend wisely.

the lady will claim that you have nami/benami houses, accounts..Bank balances running into the tune of crores and so on.. to get a higher interim... your lawyer should be well versed in all these matters.

maintenance is fixed accordingly not what wife demands and it falls on you to show all the documents what you say in your statement

once stating what all you do with your income should follow the relevant documents to prove your stand
