Revoke power of attorney

I had done Power of Attorney (Registered) on name of my relative as I was going out during middle of one deal.

I had not mentioned any end date on it.

Now I want to revoke that POA , so it is sufficient that I take that POA back from my relative and  just burn that document. or I need to follow any legal procedure to make that POA void ?

In addition to getting original POA back and destroying the same, you should prepare a document for getting revokation of POA and get signature of the present POA holder confirming that he has been informed of the revokation of POA.

If earlier POA was registered, then, it will further be advisable to have this revokation registered.
