Rich wife poor husband

Seeing all the various posts have prompted me to ask one question......what happens if the wife is from a very well to do family and the husband is not from as affluent a background....they file for divorce by mutual consent but the divorce is initiated by the husband.....what all can the wife claim from her husband? If the wife's father has his own company and she is on that board and the husband is in service in another organisation....how much can she really ask for?

If with her own income the wife can enjoy a better standard of living than the husband then the wife cannot claim alimony. If her income is much higher than the husband then, the husband can claim alimony in the MCD.

may be mutual divorce was initiated by your husband judge will see all the aspects and the financial standard if you husband submits the evidence to the court that you are already financially good rather then him then judge will grant alimoney to your husband if he demands for the same
