Rights over ancestral property

My grandfather had two sons (my father and his brother). My father’s brother passed away in his early age. Then my grandfather purchased a property in the name of my father’s brother’s son (who was a minor that time) stating in the record that he (father’s brother’s son) has to pay half the valuation of the property to my father after he becomes major. However he did not make the settlement with my father (payment of half value of the property) in his lifetime.   Now my father passed away 3 years back and father’s brother’s son passed away this year and the property is with his son.

I just wanted to check with the experts in this forum that whether I will have any rights over the property of my father’s brother as he did not do any settlement (payment of half valuation) with my father as it was stated in the record?

 Thanks in advance.
