Rti information not provided

Hello,

I live in a co-operative housing society @ Pune.

As we wanted some information from the society, we had submitted an application to our cooperative housing society.

But society did not provide any information.

So we went to the REGISTRAR, and REGISTRAR issued a letter to the society. But still Society did not provide the information we wanted.

Then we also filed an RTI to REGISTRAR on 6th Nov 2015.

It is now more than one month and still we did not receive any information even from RTI dept.

It seems that the REGISTRAR officers and Society secretary have some relation.

Can you please guide on how to go about this ? whom we can escalate about Society, REGISTRAR

Go for appeal to higher authorities.

Hi,

The concerned PIO  has to provide a reply to an application within 30 days from the date of receipt of the application. in your case , it's a clear case of misconduct on the part of the concerned official nad required to take him to task .

A written complaint on administrative side ,will solve your purpose .

the question of appeal doesn't arise in your case as for assailing an order and go in appeal , there has to be an order in first place.

hope, the advice be of help to you.
