6th pay is applicable to all goverenment servants of Maharashtra State, so as I also.But the thing is i was in the service before 2006 on the one year renuable contract.After that I am regularised after 2008.I got the arrears from 2008.As per GR Maharshtra 6th pay is applicable to all.But what happened Government draws new corrigendum stating employs who were on contract basis will not be entitled for areares proer to there regularisation.This is something shocking news for me.It is falt of Government who didn't force 6th pay GR in time .I think this is my legal right to get areasres for the period of 2006 to 2008 .Please opine and guide for the legal matter.
