Can someone kindly inform whether salary is admissible during the period treated as Dies-non?

Dies non means TIME SPENT NOT ON DUTY. It carries with it all the disqualifications for being considered a period of service. Thus, salary is not admissible.

No salary no pension the period will also not count towards earning leave account and increment.
