The document recorded in the court resgister shall only be acceptable and valid ;if the document in court is with such corrections and registred then that is fine otherwise you write anything on them that will be tampering and may be backfire on you

Please do not be agitated by doubts, when you have corrected the same in scanned copy, and the original title deed prevails over if the material alteration if any is signed in full by the parties, and the correction was made in Registrar's scanned copy. You may apply for a certified copy of the same sale deed from Registrar for Rs.400/- to verify as to whether the correction was duly incorporated. Finally, it is the purchaser of your property that has to get measurements done to confirm that the document is incorporated with the actual plinth area as stated in the sale deed.
