Sale of ancestral property by grand father

I am 25 years old ,living at delhi .My grandfather  is selling the agricultural land which is transferred to him from his father.but I does not want the land to be sold . Can I legally able to stop the land deal, and if the deal is delayed or cancelled ,is my grandfather is forced to transfer the land to the buyer without our concern?

please suggest me what should i do?

Your query gives me an understanding that the property can be considered to be ancestral as it is not the self acquired property of your grand father

The following facts are needed to ascertain the correct legal position:

1. Is your grand father paternal or maternal

Your father( if paternal) or mother( if maternal) will have to file a partition suit ( immediately) and get an injunction against alienation of the property until the disposal of the suit.
